It's a brand new year~
It's 2007, boys and girls! Rejoice! Celebrate! Sing Orr Lang Sai or something. The start of a new year warrants the review of the past year. So let's begin:
Jan 06: Pretty much started this year in Korea working my cute little ass off while living in a motel. Trust me when I say it is not a happy time for me. Went back for CNY for 5 days tho. :)
Feb 06: Spent the entire month in Korea. Conclusion: Not happy.
Mar 06: Spent the first 2 weeks in Korea, then semi-conclusion of the project. Brought the work back to Singapore. Nothing special but feels damn good to be home.
Apr 06: Spent most of the time in Singapore working most of the time. Went back to Korea during the last week of the month. Still quite happy. Feeling changes though.
May 06: Slogged through the first 3 weeks in Korea, but in better accomodations liao. Better accomodations, work also more siong. Highly stressed but went back to Singapore in the last week. Feeling burnt out.
Jun 06: My one and only month spent fully in Singapore. did alot of catching up with friends and family. I'm always happy to be back. :)
Jul 06: 2 more weeks in Sg before returning to my hometown, Gumi. Could swear some of the residents already know me. Not very happy on returning to Korea.
Aug 06: First 3 weeks in Singapore. quite happy lah. However went to Korea alone for the 1st time. Abit intimidating but managed to pull it through.
Sep 06: 4 flights in 1 month, extremely tiring. Feeling very burnt out, plus the stress of transition to Sybase makes it more unbearable.
Oct 06: Quite eventful month. Took and failed IPPT. Hahaha.. what to do? nua so long liao. Attended Lyod's showroom opening. So very proud of my good friend. :) Got invitation of ex's solemnisation there also. very weird. Went back to korea for the last 2 weeks and missed Lay lay's wedding.
Nov 06: Spent my birthday there. Nobody to celebrate my birthday in Sg anyway so no big deal. Johnny passed me email address of his gf's friend. Shy to say hi. :P Day after bday is ex's solemnisation. They really know how to pick a date. :P Spent rest of the month in Korea slogging away. Feeling really really burnt out. Oh, and officially part of Sybase as of Nov.
Dec 06: Came back to Sg for 1 week. Attended 97S17's 1st ever class chalet. Was a whopping success, credits to the organisers. Ist visit to Vivo city after chalet. Came flying back to Korea right after the chalet. Very demoralised, very burnt out. Did something I normally wouldn't do and very happy that I did it. Spent entire xmas and new year in the room but feeling much much better all thanks to a certain Mi.
Okay, that's basically the break down for the year 2006 loh. More like an itinerary right? Anyway, I guess if nothing goes wrong, I will be here for the next 6 months at least due to career related obligations. This is seriously harmful to my social and possibly mental/emotion health, but I just need to "hang in there" like everybody around me is saying. Let's hope that 2007 will be a year to remember for me bah~
