Greetings

Howdy! I don't know who reads this blog, but I think I better make a little introduction before starting on this. I suppose I am the young, pretty lady that, according to the main blogger of this blog, has stamps stuck on her eyes, except that, I am not that young and pretty, and definitely do not have stamps stuck anywhere.

Am trying very hard to pen something after being invited to contribute to this blog, which I guess, can be blamed on my boring, little life. Not that it is not meaningful....maybe just a tad too predictable to be blogging too much about it. Well...I have to start with something, ooooh.....cracking my brains is sooo not my idea of a Friday, especially when we just had a holiday yesterday. It should be made a holiday today as well. Oh well, I suppose we can start with that......

Yesterday was Singapore's 42nd Birthday. Began kinetics early to head for the zoo with Pete's (aka main blogger of this blog) parents, and a few of his relatives. Great weather for a zoo outing, and we breezed through it in 3 hours. The rest of the day was spent nuaing (defined as lazing, a term that will be widely used) at Pete's uncle's place, followed by part 2 at Pete's place. Managed to catch the NDP on tv. It was a little different this year, as the land, air, and water were utilised to stage the event. The fireworks looked nice from our spot in front of the box, and at this point, where the national songs were being sung loud and proud, my heart will almost always swell with pride and patriotism. I was spent from the zoo outing and the nuaing yesterday, and dragged my oh-so-heavy feet to work this morning. It should be made a holiday today, so that we can continue with the nation's birthday celebrations, right? I am not feeling very patriotic right now.

It's okay...2 more hours to knocking off (aka bell-ring). And the count-down resumes...

Out!
