Just another day
Hi all, I'm back from in camp training after being in there for a mere 1 day and a few hours. I was taken out due to the late notification of the overseas training next month. So back to a civilian life for me. Army life (or airforce for me) is quite good actually. Hours are short, and you get to see your old friends whom you chiong together with during NS days. Plus you get to be stinky without qualms, cos everybody is stinky too! :) However, I still prefer a civilian life though, for reasons unknown. Maybe I'm just not a very military person bah.
So I'm back, with just 2 days of absence from work. Can't say that the work has piled up for me, but still, the pace is a bit faster and there is a bit more work than before i left for my ICT. And there is still the looming possibility of the possible business trip that i have to make in the coming week or so, which makes me kinda sian. Okay, that's enough complaining for this entry. Let's see what did we do this weekend..
In a nutshell, we (ah mi & i) had Swensen's sticky chewy chocolate ice cream sundae (sinfully good.. thick thick fudge...), did some 7th month praying, watched "License to Wed" (will we have a movie review?) at the (not so) new Cathay cinema, recced Punggol and Sengkang, and had a fabulous home cooked dinner by our friends(Thanks, Karen & Howard). Oh, on top of that, I even attended my remedial training on Sunday morning. It's starting to get a tad bit siong now cos my body was aching for the past 2 days loh. but i have to say its a good kind of ache lah. makes you feel alive, u noe?
So that's basically it for our weekend. if you think that this is a rather boring weekend, then better think again. this is one of our more fruitful weekends loh.. no joke! wahahahaha.. we are really a couple of nua-ers here. would wish to nua more if possible. heeee :P
That's all for this entry then. Out.
