Lacking in patriotism this year
Here i am again! First, lets give a very warm welcome to our new co-blogger, Ms Young-and-Pretty-but-with-stamps-stuck-to-her-eyes! *APPLAUSE* Hopefully, she will bring a breath of fresh air to this dying blog. Also, if you can notice, there are some changes to this blog. Still making some changes, but the main theme will be pandas. Why? Well, it's for us to know and u to find out. ;P
Anyway, back to the topic. National day just passed and i am feeling not THAT patriotic this year.. i guess it's due to the ICT issues that i have. ICT, is in-camp training, which is the curse that accompanies all boys (yes, i am a boy) who are citizens of Singapore. After the 2 years national service, we need to go back for another 10 cycles, which is usually once a year. This is my 1st year going back after ORDing in 2001, and i must say its been a really bad experience for me. Changes after changes, cock ups after cock ups. this has really made the ICT experience quite bad for me. though many other boys have said that ICT is a time to take off from work and relax, it doesn't really sound that tempting right now...
Oh and did i mention that i have to attend RT AKA remedial training? this is for fatter boys *blushing* who failed their fitness test. yah, i failed my fitness test.. my body has become too heavy for me to pull it up (hence failing chin ups) and for me to jump far enough (failed standing broad jump too). so i cant really blame anyone but myself for failing and having to attend RT. it's not really that bad, just that with the looming ICT, it's a little bit messy in terms of schedule and logistics.
anyway, that's the NS experience for me and why i'm lacking in patriotism this year. maybe next year i will feel better once this phase is over. i wana lose 10kg!!! wahahahaha..

P.S. One more thing about my co-blogger, she is a English fanatic who will correct my english mercilessly. So i guess u will read nothing but perfect english in this blog from now on. :P
