End of Long Weekend
Finally a chance to update the blog. This week seems to pass fast, and this is the first night this week that I am able to relax a little at home after work. I was waiting for the rain to stop on Monday evening, and ended up staying back in the office to do some work. Was out with Pete on Tuesday night, and Sally, last night. I feel like a zombie today ha ha.
The last day of the long weekend last week was spent at a dog cafe, as well as the museum (again! ha ha ha!) We met up with my colleague, Jinglin aka Jingle Bell aka one of the sian-ers, together with her sisters, brother-in-law, and not forgetting.......Summer, their golden retriever for lunch at Pawtobello Cafe. It is the first time at a dog cafe for Pete and myself, and we enjoyed the experience :) It was nice having your meal with dogs running around, sniffing and rubbing against your legs at the same time.
Summer was a little excited at first, pouncing on almost everyone, and getting very friendly with the other dogs. In the end, she had to be hooked to the canine hitch, and had to stay under the table, while watching the other dogs roam around. Poor Summer *pat pat* But she sure gobbled down fast the crepe that was ordered for her, leaving no crumbs or remnants for the other dogs that came by the table.

After lunch, Pete and I decided to visit the Asian Civilisation Museum. We walked quite a bit before reaching our destination. I thought it was a little too historic for me...

We had dinner at Genki Sushi at Marina Square, before heading back to face the new week the following day.
Next long weekend is in May... :D
