Festive Spirit

Christmas is approaching, and it's the season for gift-hunting. I received an early X'mas present from Karen last week. She has been bugging me to let her know what I would like to receive from her for X'mas. I could not come up with anything, till we were at Takashimaya's Crabtree and Evelyn section. A few years back, she gave me a Nantucket Briar travel set from Crabtree and Evelyn containing bath and shower gel, soap, powder, body lotion and so on for Christmas. It smelt so nice and refreshing, I could not bear to use it. Instead, I left the set in my cupboard for my clothes to soak up the smell, and they did. Till today, that set still smells good.

Hence, last week, I requested for another set of Nantucket Briar so I could finally use the one in my cupboard, and use this new set as my "diffusion" set. I remembered what Karen said after paying for it: "Use your old set first ya." So on Saturday, I took out my old Nantucket Briar set, all prepared to use it and smell nice and fresh.

Ewww... With lesson learnt, I have started using my new Nantucket Briar Bath & Shower Gel that I received last week. Ha ha!

Received a gingerbread man at work this week. I must say he is the biggest around that I have seen.

We will be having a Christmas lunch party at work next Friday. Seems there is lots of good food lined up. There will be lots more of pigging out during the next few weeks, so hopefully, my throat, which has been giving me some trouble since the weekend, will recover by then. Meanwhile, I will have to catch up on my X'mas shopping this weekend!
